Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon – already the name suggests that this is a fantasy RPG. And indeed: The game by the developer Awaken Realms has great ambitions and is supposed to score points especially with the large open world as well as a gloomy atmosphere.
Stylistically and in terms of the storyline, the game is strongly oriented towards the Arthurian legends. The people have just arrived on the island of Avalon and are hoping for paradise, but quickly discover that they have rather landed in hell.
The quests are supposed to present you with decisions that also have big consequences. Nothing is known about the main storyline yet – but here, too, it is emphasised that everything is supposed to be very dark. So if you’ve been wanting a game that doesn’t come with laughing elves and green meadows, you should keep an eye on the title at (Steam)
