At the end of last week, Nintendo had released the third trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Fans didn”t spare a second to gather key analysis. We summarize all the findings for you.

Mid-May and the release of Tears of the Kingdom is not long away. The anticipation of the fans is gigantic after a long wait. So it”s no wonder that many have taken apart every second of the latest trailer to find out as much as possible about the game. If you haven”t seen the latest clip yet, you can do so now.

Let”s start with some rather obvious news. A Reddit user has taken from the official website where Link”s journey in Tears of the Kingdom starts. We”re talking about the mysterious Sky Islands, which have already taken a crucial role in the gameplay Dead Dive and in the other trailers.

Not sure if this has been posted here before but this is taken from the official ToTK site. Looks like the tutorial island theory is correct

A second insight deals with the question of what exactly the eponymous Tears of the Kingdom actually are. For this, fans have scrutinized the trailer. Both Zelda and other characters carry a small stone that has the shape of a tear. They have different colors and seem to carry special powers. Strikingly, the villain Ganondorf also carries such a tear on his crown.

We”ll find out exactly what these tears of the kingdom are all about on May 12 Then the game will be released exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
