New Games? New Games! We present the most exciting reveals in case you want to fill up your wishlist for 2025.
Even before the big Game Awards 2024, there are already numerous new announcements and updates at the end of the year. The PC Gaming Show is going ahead without Geoff Keighley, but has all the more exciting games to offer. We have picked out the highlights for you.
We have put together a whopping 40 games for you. We start with a few highlights, followed by a list of numerous smaller titles.

Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault
The merchant hero Will returns! Like its predecessor, Moonlighter 2 continues the gameplay mix of dungeon exploration, action RPG combat, and shop management.
The only thing known about the story so far is that Will and his companions are stranded in another dimension. Of course, Will’s first order of business in the village of Tresna is to open a new shop, because business is business!
Moonlighter 2 will be released in 2025 for PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. A is already online.
Revenge of the Savage Planet
The first part has become a real insider tip, especially in the Microsoft Game Pass. The second part now wants to build on this good reputation and go one better.
There’s simply more of everything here: more sci-fi exploration, more colorful monsters to fight, more trading, more opportunities to decorate your house, and, of course, lots and lots of slime.
Cool for fans: you can get started as early as May 2025. With the fast-ticking year clock, that’s not that long away.
Rise of The Fianna
We dedicate our third and final headline to this new announcement. Because at first glance, everything about Rise of The Fianna seems as if the developer team Hawkshell wanted to make a game exclusively for the GlobalESportNews target group.
Dark fantasy? Check! Tactical battles in classic isometric view? Check! Cool-looking monsters? Check! You realize: RPG fans among you should keep an eye on this game! Rise of The Fianna is scheduled for release sometime in 2025.
Killing Floor 3
There is also something new to see from the third part of the popular co-op shooter series. The Husks are in Killing Floor 3 at the start! The above trailer shows you what the disgusting contemporaries are capable of. The game is scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2025.
Citizien Sleeper 2
Do you like to sleep? Do you like role-playing games? Oh, and cyberpunk is one of your favorite settings in video games? Well, then we have something special for you: Citizen Sleeper 2 will be released in a few weeks, on January 31, 2025 to be exact.
As in the prequel, you will once again delve into the subconscious of the human psyche to create a better future for yourself.
Further announcements in quick succession
Phew, that’s not all the games by a long shot. But because there are so many, we’re going to start a quick-fire announcement for the sake of brevity. Are you ready? Here we go!
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tactical Takedown: The turtles are back! This time in the form of a tactical game with a very stylish action figure look.
- Craftlings: It looks like the indie hit Terraria and will probably adopt many of its success factors. Collect resources, craft, you know the game.
- SpaceCraft: On a strange planet, you explore the environment, build a base, collect resources. Sound familiar? Admittedly, SpaceCraft doesn’t sound innovative, but it can still be fun!
- The Legend of Baboo:A cute dog in a video game is already a clear candidate for Game of the Year for many of us on the editorial team. But well, hopefully this action-adventure should also shine in terms of gameplay. We remain excited.
- Sol Mates: A chaotic co-op game that transports the successful formula of Overcooked! to a space station. Black holes, robots and other dangers included.
- Tears of Metal: The soundtrack of this cook-hack-and-slash game is already awesome. We’ll find out in 2025 whether the game is fun too.
- Total Chaos:;nbsp;A first-person shooter that emerged from an earlier DOOM mod and now wants to stand on its own two feet.
- Rogue Eclipse: Star Fox lives! Well, maybe not at Nintendo itself, but the developer studio Huskraft has clearly been inspired by the fox. What that means for you is: thrilling arcade space battles!
- Tombwater:
Oh no, not another Souls-like!
– Yes, but this one is set in the Wild West and you’re a cowboy!
- Super Fantasy Kingdom: City-building in the Middle Ages – what could be better? The answer: when you combine it with bullet-hell orgies a’la Vampire Survivors!
- Abyssus: A 4-player co-op shooter from former Ubisoft developers. You take on robots, the highlight should be the highly modifiable weapons.
- Darkwater: Another co-op shooter, also in a contemporary horror setting. But there isn’t even a release date for this one yet, so it might be a while.
- Eternal Strands: There is new material from the role-playing game from the former Dragon Age developers. It will be released soon, on January 28, 2025 to be precise.
- Mohrta: It looks like a game from the 90s, which is of course an artistic choice. The shooter even runs on the old Doom engine!
- Island of Winds:; An adventure game that introduces you to Icelandic folklore and challenges you with demanding puzzles. It looks pretty cool, and the game is already scheduled for launch in 2025.
- The Ages: Jan Dolski is different. He has created infinite clones of himself to save his skin in outer space. Sounds totally chaotic? You can find out in spring 2025.
- Age of Darkness: Final Stand: The dark real-time strategy game is getting a co-op mode and will leave Early Access this winter.
- Robots at Midnight: An action role-playing game in a dystopian sci-fi universe. Humanity is threatened by deadly robots and you have to rush to the rescue.
- AILA: The job of a game tester is tough. This weird VR game shows just how tough, as you encounter a murderous AI while testing. Oh dear…
- Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream: An isometric narrative adventure game in which you play as young Hanna, who is searching for her little brother in the streets of Eriksholm.
- Chains of Freedom: A dash of Stalker, a bit of XCOM – and you have a post-apocalyptic tactical game with an Eastern European flavor.
- Empyreal: A role-playing game that resembles Destiny in terms of presentation, but relies on melee combat instead of guns.
- Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap:The orcs are back and it’s up to you to show them the door – or rather, the trap.
- Drivers of the Apocalypse: Looks like Mad Max and the atmosphere is right with the view of the crashing battles between cars.
- Cairn: People with a fear of heights need not read on, because this is all about climbing mountains. You can already play a demo on Steam
- Sonokuni: Japanese hip hop meets martial arts and an atmosphere reminiscent of Hotline Miami. Sound exciting to you? Coming in 2025!
- City Tales – Medieval Era: A game GlobalESportNews for the -community! City building, medieval – you don’t need more, right?!
- Let’s Build A Dungeon: The most exciting thing about MMOs are the big dungeons that you explore with your group. This game doesn’t care about the rest of the MMO and lets you build your dream dungeon.
- Tempest Rising: The spiritual successor to Command & Conquer is finally entering the home stretch. It all kicks off on April 24, 2025!
- Steel Seed:; a third-person stealth game in which you have to avoid nasty robots. The highlight: you can move through the levels using parkour!
- Hell Clock: An action role-playing game that is reminiscent of Diablo. But the setting is interesting: you end up in Brazil in 1896, in a supernatural world full of monsters, of course.
Phew, that was a lot of games! The author of these lines needs to put his fingers in ice water for a while.
