In the course of the Ubisoft Forward the game developer announced new info about its next racer game The Crew Motorfest. September 14, 2023 will be the date and you will be able to purchase The Crew via the Playstation Store, the Xbox/Microsoft Store as well as the Epic Games Store and the Ubisoft Store.
The Crew’s Motorfest breaks out of the mainland US for the first time and takes place in one of the most fascinating and vibrant places on earth: the island of O’ahu in the Hawaiian archipelago. In this playground, players have the opportunity to race through the streets of Honolulu, descend smoky volcanic slopes, drive through dense, lush rainforests or cruise along winding mountain roads. Of course, they can also just relax on a beautiful, sunny beach. In this unique festival, players can explore the entire island in hundreds of legendary vehicles, alone or with their crew.
What to expect at The Crew Motorfest
The heart of The Crew Motorfest are the Playlists, which offer a selection of themed campaigns that provide unique and exciting motorsport experiences. Each playlist has been carefully crafted to transport players to different motorsport universes. They include customised races, themed events and challenges.
From the wild world of American muscle cars, to the Japanese-inspired night racing scene, to competitions driving legendary classics of the past without GPS or driving aids, The Crew Motorfest offers all that and more. Over a dozen playlists will be available at launch, covering mastering cutting-edge electric supercars, exploring the most prestigious automotive brands and much more.
With over 610 vehicles to choose from, players can select and customise their vehicles from one of the most diverse model palettes ever. They can choose vehicles from both the past and the future! One of the exciting new additions is the Lamborghini Revuelto, the Italian brand’s first V12 hybrid supercar and also the cover car of The Crew Motorfest. Players will soon be able to experience the thrill of driving this hybrid supercar at full speed under the tropical skies of Hawaii.
Gamers of The Crew 2 will also have the opportunity to transfer their vehicle collection into The Crew Motorfest for free via the newly announced feature “Collection Import”. More information on this will be announced at a digital Summer Showcase later this month.
During the development of The Crew Motorfest, the team at (Ubisoft Ivory Tower) received valuable feedback from thousands of community members as part of the Insider Program. The goal was to create the most exciting and engaging experience for players. Although the Insider Programme is now closed, players will soon be able to get a taste of the game as a closed beta will take place on PC, PlayStation5 and Xbox Series X from (21 to 23 July)
