Ubisoft”s upcoming free2play shooter The Division Heartland will soon enter beta. We tell you how you can sign up for it

Over the weekend, Ubisoft not only announced numerous new games in the Assassin”s Creed universe, but also dedicated itself to its next Free2Play project: The Division Heartland. The survival shooter is currently still in development and will soon enter beta.

How to register for the beta of The Divsion Heartland and which platforms are covered, we want to summarise briefly and concisely. If you haven”t seen anything of the shooter yet, then take a look at the recently released trailer first:

How do I sign up for the beta?

If your interest is piqued, then you can currently sign up for the beta of The Division Heartland in just a few steps. To do this, proceed as follows:

  1. Visit the (official beta website for The Division Heartland)
  2. Then select the platform on which you want to play the beta. The choices are: PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
  3. Then click on Register and sign in with your Ubisoft account.
  4. Now you are registered for the beta and only have to hope for an invitation

You can still change your platform afterwards if you want to. So at least until the start of the beta, you”re not locked in.

When will the beta start?

Ubisoft is still keeping a fairly low profile on this and has not yet given an exact date. However, the beta is supposed to start soon, which is why we assume that it will start before the end of the year. As soon as there is more information about this, we will inform you immediately.

More info on The Division Heartland

The Division Heartland is not a direct successor to The Division 2, but a multiplayer spin-off. Developer Redstorm Entertainment takes its cue from games like Escape from Tarkov or Hunt: Showdown and focuses on two game modes:

  • Storm Operations: A PvEvP mode in which up to 45 players must advance against enemy agents while escaping a deadly virus
  • Excursion Operations: A PvE-only mode where you hunt for loot and complete smaller missions

As a player, you also decide which role you want to take on before each mission. A total of six different agents and three different classes will be available at release, each with their own abilities and advantages.

The Division Heartland, by the way, is one of the projects that are supposed to be the future for Ubisoft in the coming years.

But when the survival shooter will be released is still completely open. So far, Ubisoft has avoided naming an exact release date.

Do you fancy The Division Heartland and sign up for the beta or does Ubisoft”s next Free2Play attempt leave you cold? Drop us a line in the comments and let us know what you think!
