This is what BioShock is all about

The BioShock Collection reissues BioShock, BioShock 2 and the third part of the series BioShock: Infinite. The two older titles even receive a remaster. Also included are the single-player addons.

BioShock puts atmosphere and narrative first
: In the first two games, you go exploring in the underwater city of Rapture, where the elite of the best thinkers are holed up from the dystopian effects of a cataclysm.

Shooter with extras: The gameplay is predominantly classic first-person shooter fare, but also features a trick or two. For example, you use plasmids, which basically work like powerful spells.

Almost everything new for part 3
: The third part BioShock: Infinite breaks with many traditions of the series. You no longer move through Rapture, but through the seemingly utopian cloud city of Columbia, which on closer inspection turns out to be a sinister nightmare.

You shoot, use new powers and swing back and forth between the city’s huge platforms via personal levitation trains. And you can also count on the enchanting Elizabeth to bail you out time and time again.

Suitable for whom?

Most passionate gamers should know: BioShock is one of the really big names in the shooter sector. We highly recommend that fans of single-player action give BioShock a chance.

If the older parts (2007, 2010) are too dusty for you, despite the remaster, you can even jump straight in with Infinite (2013) without having to struggle with major gaps in your knowledge of the story. So the third part also works on its own.
