As Ubisoft announced in March, there will be more DLCs and content updates in the third year of Anno 1800. Included in the Season 4 Pass are three expansions that will be released one after the other throughout the year. The first of these, “Seeds of Hope”, will be released yesterday, 12 April 2022, and will offer players new, alternative ways to explore agricultural production. “Realm of the Skies” and “Rise of the New World” will both follow in the summer and late 2022 respectively.

The three new DLCs offer all kinds of innovations and expand the familiar gameplay with more depth, story passages and new buildings and productions. In addition, each DLC brings a new scenario with it, which contain new missions and game mechanics. In addition, the 4th Season Pass will offer three exclusive ornaments, available from 12 April 2022.
“Germ of Hope” is the first DLC in Season 4. Anno fans will be able to build powerful haciendas in the New World and own their own estates to produce agricultural goods. The DLC experience focuses on maximising productivity, establishing island politics and increasing the independence of residents by growing goods that previously had to be imported.
With the Scenario “The Silver Cage” players:inside are faced with the challenge of building a complex silver production chain from scratch while dealing with the changing weather conditions.
The next DLC, “Empire of the Skies”, will give us new ways to use airships. Whether transporting mail, goods and workers or even aerial battles – the skies will expand the possibilities of those playing the game. Finally, at the end of 2022, “Rise of the New World” will add a brand new inhabitant level and more islands to the New World. This will bring this region, which has been rather forgotten in the past, more to the fore and will also become more important for the endless game. More information on the individual DLCs will be announced in the weeks leading up to their respective releases.
In addition, there are two new editions of Anno 1800, which already include the 4th Season Pass and replace the previous big editions.
- Visionary Edition: Includes the main game, the deluxe package and all 4 Season Passes
- Gold Edition Year 4: Includes the main game, Deluxe Pack and Season 4 Pass
These two editions are available now and replace the old editions. In addition to the three DLCs, Anno 1800 will also receive free updates for each DLC release that focus on further improving the game. So there will still be plenty to do for skilled Annoholics.
