HBO gives us a first glimpse of the second season of The Last of Us. Those of you who have played the video game from Naughty Dog will already know pretty well what to expect in the new season.

Yes… we are talking about THAT moment. The moment we fans have to relive. Or maybe not? Is HBO deciding on a different way out? The trailer gives us little reason to hope.

What’s it about? Five years have passed since the events of the first season, but the past catches up with Joel and Ellie. A conflict arises that turns their entire world upside down and takes them to places full of danger.

Season 2 picks up at an unspecified point in 2025, so we’ll have to be patient for a few months at least. But then at least we’ll have enough time to prepare ourselves for THE moment.

Oh, enough of the innuendo, you know what we’re talking about. But please be so kind as to refrain from using spoilers in the comments for those who have never played the games, okay? Thank you very much!
