Illumination has released a new trailer for The Super Mario Bros. Movie tonight. In it we see our red-clad plumber fighting Donkey Kong.
Actually, The Super Mario Bros. Movie was supposed to be released in cinemas at the end of March. But recently Illumination had to announce the postponement of the film. The company is sweetening the wait with a new, short trailer. In it we see Mario in a fight with Donkey Kong… failing miserably. But shortly afterwards, the plumber slips into his familiar cat outfit – which, however, only causes ridicule from the battle-ready monkey.
The Super Mario Bros. movie is scheduled to hit theatres on 7 April In the following post we show you the first trailer and talk about why the film is indeed a declaration of love for the popular video game brand.
