Steam and GOG are currently running a big weekly sale. We”ve picked out the best game deals for you

A good week for savers: This time there is not only the weekly Midweek Madness on Steam, but also a lot of games are heavily reduced on GOG. We have picked out the best current offers for you, have fun browsing!

Sale on Steam

Highlight: Elex 2

(Genre: Role Playing Game – Developer: Piraha Bytes – Release: March 1, 2022 – Current Price & Discount: 25 Euro (reduced by 50 percent)

If you prefer to wait until Elex 2 is on sale: Now would be a good time to buy it. Almost exactly one year after its release, the open-world game is only half as expensive and has a few patches under its bonnet. In our post-test, we took a look at whether the role-playing game runs more smoothly with these patches.

The technology is still the sore point of Elex 2, but the open world still has a lot to offer, especially if you like to explore freely (jetpack flying!) and discover secrets in every corner. For Piranha Bytes fans more of the tried and tested, all others will have to get used to the somewhat dusty but somehow charming game design.

Highlight: Horizon Zero Dawn – Complete Edition

      (Genre: Action-Adventure – Developer: Guerilla Games – PC-Release: August 7, 2020 – Current Price & Discount: 17 Euro (reduced by 67 percent))

Horizon Zero Dawn: One of the most beautiful post-apocalypses in gaming history, with a huge open world and many hours of story. The story around the outcast huntress Aloy takes a bit to get going, but develops into a rousing epic about the nature of humanity.

The Old World (i.e. our modern civilisation) has perished, only ruins remain of the metropolises. Instead, enormous robotic animals roam the world, hunted by indigenous tribes. What has happened to humanity and why are the machines becoming more and more dangerous? That is our task to find out.

Aloy”s story continues in the sequel, but Horizon Forbidden West is still only available for PlayStation.
