In the Christmas month of December, PlayStation’s subscription service PS Plus brings us three first-class free games. We introduce you to the titles that you can download for free to your console from 07 December and reveal what is particularly worthwhile.

Godfall Challenger Edition

The first title was originally one of the big blockbusters at the launch of the PS5. Unfortunately, the action-shredder Godfall was not particularly well received, except for the fancy graphics. Now, the fantasy clunker with Diablo and Warframe similarities is available as a free game with the PS Plus subscription. However, with a blatant cut. The Godfall Challenger Edition only includes a challenge mode with end-game content. Unfortunately, you have to pay extra for the main game and the campaign. But you can see this slimmed-down edition as a “demo”, try it out and, if you like it, buy it in full.
By the way, Godfall: Challenger Edition is also released in the (Epic Games Store)! Also with exactly the same restrictions of the Challenger Edition.

Lego DC Super-Villains

In the arcadey action Lego game DC Super-Villains, you’ll jump, fight, collect and puzzle your way through numerous levels of the DC Comics world in the familiar Lego video game formula. Originally started with Lego Star Wars, there is now no franchise that hasn’t had its own Lego video game. Now it’s the turn of the gangsters, anti-heroes and villains of the DC universe to save the world from an even greater evil. To do so, they must, among other things, free their arch enemies, the Justice League!

Lego DC Super-Villains features numerous playable villains from the DC cosmos. Even rather unknown faces like Gorilla Grod are included. But of course also Joker, Harley Quinn, Cat Woman and more!

Mortal Shell

The gloomy Dark Souls cousin is characterised by a very immersive and Dark Fantasy-inspired world as well as a very special gameplay trick. In the world of Mortal Shell you will always find armour that you can literally “take possession of” and control with your character. Each armour offers its own abilities, advantages and disadvantages. And so you have to use them wisely, as well as your special power of hardening, in order to survive against numerous monsters and impressive bosses. The relentless and deep action RPG captivates you from the start and surprises even “Souls veterans”.

All games are of course also available for non-PS Plus owners in the PS Store.
