Which team wins if both sides are tied? This is how Nintendo decides who wins the match in the event of a tie.
In Nintendo’s new MOBA Pokémon Unite, it’s all about scoring goals and collecting points. But what happens when the score is tied at the end of a match? It’s simple: the faster team wins!
Player “Jardzardart” posted screenshots of the game on Twitter after a drawn match on 3 August. Both teams managed to score 405 points in the match. Instead of starting a short extra round or extending the game, Pokémon Unite chooses the winner in a different way: In the event of a tie, the team that scores first wins.

For the Twitter user, this ruling turned out well: His team cracked the 405 points first and thus he won the round. What happens, however, should both teams score the same points in the same second is still unknown.
