Popular streamer Pokimane speaks out about burnout in a YouTube video. The 25-year-old now wants to make changes.

Imane “Pokimane” Anys’ career is currently going strong. Her Twitch streams and YouTube videos are extremely successful and recently she even made an appearance in the new film “Free Guys”, which stars Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds. However, in a YouTube video titled “IRL diaries” that she posted on Monday, she admitted to suffering from a slight burnout. In the video, the 25-year-old talks about the hard daily workload, as well as projects she’s not too passionate about.

In the video,

Pokimane talks a lot about things she has to do but have little meaning for her. Overall, she says she is happy with her life and her current status, but work seems to be draining her strength: “I think I’m burnt out. In a different way than I was burnt out in the past. […] I just do so many things. It’s not that I don’t want to do them, but they don’t excite me, I’m not passionate about them. I always do things that I think I should do. I think it’s time for a change. ”

The streamer elaborates that she needs to move away from her current mindset that she always overworks herself with. Her statements received support from her fans who stated that they will continue to support her even if she takes a break. This is not the first time Pokimane has spoken out about burnout. Last year, she already took a break from streaming for a short time.
