If you like first-person shooters with a special story focus and aren’t afraid of the dark, the Metro series is just the thing

All fans of single-player shooters should take a look at Steam. You can get three of the best games in the genre for less than 10 euros. If you want, you can Metro 2033 ReduxMetro Last Light Redux and Metro Exodus individually for up to 90 percent less.

Metro bundle on Steam

What does the Metro Saga Bundle contain? You get all three games in the series. The first two parts are available in the visually and gameplay-wise improved Redux version, which also includes all subsequently released DLCs.

The bundle also includes the Expansion Pass, which contains the two story DLCs and Metro: Exodus.

What does the bundle cost? You pay (9 Euro) instead of 85 Euro for the Metro Saga Bundle on Steam, so you save 89 percent. You can also buy the games individually if you already own one.

  • Metro 2033 Redux: (2 Euro) (reduced by 90 percent)
  • Metro Last Light Redux: (2 Euro) (reduced by 90 percent)
  • Metro Exodus: (6 Euro) (reduced by 80 percent)
  • Metro Exodus Expansion Pass: (3 Euro) (reduced by 80 percent)

Until when is the offer valid? You can buy the bundle, as well as the individual games until December 18, 2023 at the reduced prices.

What is the Metro series about?

The games are based on the novels of the same name by Russian author Dmitri Gluchowski. As Artyom, you and others fight for survival in a post-apocalyptic world

Since a nuclear war has devastated the world, life takes place in the subway tunnels of the Moscow metro at least in the first two games. Not only do dangerous mutants seek your life there, but people also turn on each other

While parts 1 and 2 follow a linear level structure, in Exodus you are also allowed to explore an open game world as you enter the not quite so uninhabitable surface in the third game.

For a shooter, there is surprisingly little shooting, but this is also due to the fact that bullets are scarce in the apocalypse. The fight for survival and the threatening game world give the games a special atmosphere

In addition, the focus is on the story and the decisions you make as you progress. If you like it particularly difficult, you can play in the Ranger mode without HUD, with hardly any resources and even more difficult opponents.

So far, none of the Metro games have been available to buy cheaper on Steam. Will you get one of the games now thanks to the good offer? Have you already played the Metro series? If so, what are the strengths and weaknesses of the games? For whom is the purchase most worthwhile? Let us know your opinion in the comments.
