Developer Tribute Games and publisher Dotemu have a lot of news for TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge in store. In addition to the new trailer, the voice actors of the 1987 animated film also offer a good dose of nostalgia. They are returning to their old roles for the video game! In addition, the iconic soundtrack by Tee Lopes will be available both digitally and physically in the summer after the game’s release.
Punch the Foot Clan through the streets of Manhattan and visit familiar locations like the Channel 6 building. The ten-minute gameplay video for TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge reveals a good load of Turtle power and gives insights into the first levels of the game. At the same time, you can listen to Cam Clarke (Leonardo), Townsend Coleman (Michelangelo), Barry Gordon (Donatello) and Rob Paulsen (Raphael) breathe life back into the Turtles. From cheeky sayings to various battle sounds, it’s all there. Of course, the iconic KOWABONGA! is not to be missed either.
TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge promises to be a fun as well as entertaining retro adventure game that will take long-time fans back to their childhood days. This is also ensured by the many talented people who are doing the development work at Tribute Games. Some of them already proved their skills in 2002 on the GameBoy Advance game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turles. They are therefore very familiar with the animation of the four teenagers.
Unfortunately, there is no exact release date for TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge yet. So far, the release date has only been set for the summer. At least you can already add the title to your wishlist at (Steam). A release for the Switch, PS4 and Xbox One is also planned.
