Developer Creative Assembly debuts more than twelve minutes of annotated gameplay from the new DLC for Total War: Warhammer 3. Called Champions of Chaos, the expansion brings, among other things, four new Chaos Lords, new units, a new campaign, and new mechanics like the powerful Gifts of Chaos that you claim with won souls.
All these changes are presented in detail in the video. You will also meet the first of the four Chaos Lords: The winged Azazel is affiliated with Slaanesh and leads his troops into battle to capture the legendary Altar of Battle. This artefact contains the souls of billions of fallen warriors – after so much potential fighting power, the forces of Chaos naturally pine away.
The other three Lords will be revealed over the next few weeks before Champions of Chaos is released on 23 August 2022, coinciding with the mega-campaign Immortal Empires.
