Trek to Yomi could be aimed primarily at those who want even more samurai action after games like Ghost of Tsushima.
Because as the new gameplay trailer for the action sidescroller shows, the developers know how to capture the setting. You follow the samurai Hiroki on his quest for revenge through ancient Japan. You see the action from a 2.5D view and have to dodge attacks by reacting or reflect them with a counterattack. In addition, smaller switch puzzles can already be seen in the trailer, which liven up the action somewhat.
The game will be released in spring 2022 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. In addition, it will appear directly on the first day in Xbox Game Pass.
