New Game+ in Dying Light 2?

When is New Game Plus coming? Developer Techland promises one of the biggest updates for Dying Light 2 so far for the end of April. There is no concrete date for it yet. We will of course keep you up to date as soon as the studio reveals more information.

Why is New Game Plus so exciting? With New Game+, you can usually experience the story of a game anew, if you have already finished it, without having to start completely from the beginning. Skills and earned equipment are usually retained, and sometimes there are new challenges in the form of tougher enemies, for which better loot can be obtained.

It is not yet known exactly what New Game Plus will look like in Dying Light 2. However, we could imagine that you will be able to complete the story, side missions and open world activities in a new way. You should be able to transfer Aiden’s unlocked skills and collected inhibitors to your new score. This is pure speculation, but in our eyes it would make sense.

In fact, the community has been waiting for New Game+ for Dying Light 2 since shortly after release, and many players would have liked to have this option from the beginning, so the news should be met with open arms by fans.

What else the update is expected to deliver: Techland is also promising bug fixes for Dying Light 2’s solo and co-op modes in the upcoming update. No other details are known at this time, but with talk of one of the biggest updates yet, Techland is likely to have more new additions and improvements planned.

What else you should know about Dying Light 2

The last patches for Dying Light 2 still caused excitement in the community. Controversial changes and a broken promise didn’t go down too well. Since then, Techland has rowed back and, for example, given the popular Korek charm a buff.

A handful of free DLCs have also already been released for Dying Light 2 in the form of additional weapons, outfits and challenges.
