Neocore Games announced a new DLC for Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor – Martyr this afternoon. The expansion Sororitas is to be released next year, first for PC and later for consoles.

Those who have already spent some time in the Warhammer 40K universe will already know the Adepta Sororitas. This is an organisation consisting of devout women who faithfully serve the Emperor. The mission of the Adepta Sororitas is to persecute corruption and heresy. The members of the order are equipped with a wide arsenal of weapons, including flamethrowers, blessed blades and neural whips. But their faith is also a weapon not to be underestimated, with which they can conjure up unspeakable powers.

When the Sister of Battle go into action, new class mechanics and item types will be introduced into Warhammer 40K at the same time. These will also allow players to access various Acts of Faith that unlock both active and passive skills. If the Adepta Sororitas follower’s faith is particularly strong, they will transform into an embodied saint and gain access to particularly powerful skills.
