Weekend is bargain time: There are some exciting offers on Steam, GOG and the Ubisoft Store, which we summarise for you.

Who turned the clock, is it really the weekend again? Absolutely spot on and you know exactly what that means: it’s time for the Weekend Sale. On Steam, GOG and in the Ubisoft Store you can get some games at a reduced price this weekend.

Highlight for the weekend: Hades

(Genre: Action Role-Playing Game – Developer: Supergiant Games – Release: 09/17/2020 – Price: 13 Euro (Steam, reduced by 40 percent))

98 percent positive reviews on Steam, a score of 90 in the GlobalESportNews test and 4th place among the top-rated Steam games of all time: Hades is without a doubt a real hit. But what makes the game from developer Supergiant Games (Bastion, Transistor) so good?

The combat system and the characters: Hades is a roguelite that relies on both a fast and massive combat system and characters that really grow on you bit by bit. As the son of the god of death himself, you have to fight your way through the underworld and get support from the gods of Olympus. If you die anyway, you have to start all over again, but you can unlock additional advantages for your next attempt – and you constantly receive new dialogues with the inhabitants of the underworld and other beings.

Playway Sale on Steam

In addition to the usual weekend deals, Steam also has a big Playway promotion this weekend. There are numerous games from the large Polish publisher on sale, which definitely goes a few different ways in terms of production

Of course, Hades and Playway aren’t the only deals this weekend. There are other highlights at Steam, Ubisoft and GOG:

  • Citizen Sleeper: In the cyberpunk role-playing game, you slip into an artificial body with a digitised human consciousness and try to escape from those who are hunting you. (13 euros, 20 percent off on Steam and GOG)

  • Assetto Corsa Competizione: Complex racing simulation that focuses on the Blancpain GT Series and offers both a career and a multiplayer mode. (14 euros, 40 percent off on Steam)

  • Solasta – Crown of the Magister: Group-based oldschool role-playing game where we explore dungeons in the classic way, fight tactical battles and admire the vertical level design. (16 euros, 60 percent off on Steam and GOG)

    • Aliens – Fireteam Elite: Co-op shooter in which you take on the battle against the eponymous aliens alone or with up to two friends and shoot your way through four crisp campaigns. (16 euros, 60 percent off on Steam)

    • Stellaris: Sci-fi strategy game by Paradox, for which not only Michael Graf but also our strategy expert Reiner Hauser can get endlessly excited. (8 Euro, reduced by 80 percent at GOG)

    • Control: Third-person shooter from the Max Payne makers, in which you explore an equally mysterious building full of surreal environments as the director of a mysterious US organisation. (12 euros, reduced by 70 percent at GOG)

    • Ghostrunner: In this cyberpunk action game you have to get from A to B fast and be precise, because one hit means death. (12 Euro, 60 percent off on Steam)

    • Seven: Post-apocalyptic role-playing game from the pen of former Witcher developers, whereby you, as master thief Teriel, act much more stealthily and cautiously. (6 euros, reduced by 80 percent on Steam)

    • X4 – Foundations: If you like space strategy, you can hardly get past X4. After a bumpy start, the current series part since 2021 is a true scope monster. (20 euros, reduced by 60 per cent on Steam)

    • Everspace: Here you can expect action-packed dogfights in space, which are somewhat reminiscent of Freelancer. The game structure, however, is more like a Roguelite, which means that when you die you have to start all over again. (4 Euro, 85 percent off at GOG)

    • Rebel Galaxy Outlaw: And a third time space, but this time more in the style of the Wing Commander spin-off Privateer including a story campaign. (4 Euro, 85 percent off at GOG)

    • Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: The still most current part of the series, in which you slip into the skin of the Viking Eivor and go on the rampage, especially in the England of that time. (24 Euro, reduced by 60 percent at Ubisoft)

    • Heroes of Might & Magic 3: An absolute classic of tactical turn-based strategy, which includes all expansions in this version. (2,50 Euro, reduced by 75 percent at Ubisoft)

    • Immortals – Fenyx Rising: Action role-playing game in the scenario of Greek mythology, which was inspired to some extent by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. (20 euros, reduced by 67 percent at Ubisoft)
