The Helldivers community is in turmoil. Images of a terrifying new Terminiden enemy have emerged online.

Abominable creatures and monsters are part of everyday life in Helldivers 2. Every few months, developer Arrowhead unleashes new infernal enemy types on the players. And the community celebrates it. Good democrats will never tire of defending the freedom of the Über-Earth, come what may.

Now, a new threat is looming for the brave Helldivers Because the first images of various new Terminid types have appeared in the game. And they are truly terrifying. Images on Reddit show blurred silhouettes of multi-legged creatures, leading players to wonder what the Terminids are hatching up this time.

A few days ago, there were already first leaks that suggested that a new Terminid type will soon find its way into the game. However, there is no specific date for this. Many players suspect, however, that the new Terminids are hiding in the so-called Gloom.

This is a mysterious nebula that has so far made flights to the bug homeworlds impossible. However, all super-earth forces are currently being ordered to go there. According to the last major order from the high command, it is now possible to enter worlds with low spore density thanks to new equipment from the ingenious scientists of the super-earth.

A multi-legged ambush

Players now suspect that they are walking into an ambush by the Terminids, riddled with new deadly bug types. The images shared on Reddit are presumably special Gloom variants of Warrior and Charger bugs.

However, the new enemies do not yet seem to be available to all players. As community manager Katherine Baskins on Discord announced, some enemy types on the new planet have been disabled due to technical difficulties. When the new bugs arrive, all hell is likely to break loose.

It’s a good thing that a portable backpack nuke has recently been added to Helldivers 2 This is a pretty reliable way to get rid of bug problems. On Reddit, players suggest vitrifying the planets of the Gloom or even turning them into a black hole, since that worked so well with Meridia.
