The building game Anno 1800 will soon enter its fourth season with new content. Now the developers show you what they are working on until then.
Anno 1800 is still showing a lot of stamina three years after its release. In the course of 2022, a fourth season with new expansions for the construction hit will be released. In addition to all the new content, the developers are not forgetting what is already available. In a (Trello-Board), they are now showing players what the team is currently working on.
You can see this on the board
The new Trello board serves as a replacement for a list of known problems and bugs previously maintained in the official forum. This was somewhat confusing, which is why the developers have decided to switch to the current version. This was announced in a (Blogpost) on the Anno Union website.
The Trello board now clearly lists which problems the developers are currently working on, what has already been fixed, and which reported bugs are still under observation. If available, a workaround is also given there, which can help you to work around the problem until it has been solved.
Here are some of the issues in Anno 1800 that are being worked on:
- Some portraits are not unlocked when the required Achievement is reached
- Pirates do not rebuild their island when they return
- The window with the name of the island disappears when you minimize it and switch to an island with a running festival (workaround: restart the game)
- Speicherstadt: Quantity of traded goods can no longer be adjusted when scrolling down the contract list (Workaround: Restart game)
The aim of the new overview is to inform the community in more detail about important issues. The bugs listed will be prioritised according to how significant they are objectively in the game and how much they bother players.
How do I report a problem or bug? If you have discovered a bug in Anno 1800, you have three options to report your discovery to the developers:
1. you create a ticket on the (website of Ubisoft) or start a live chat there.
You contact support on (Twitter) or (Facebook).
3. Or you can report the bug in the official (Support Forum).
And what about Season 4?
In a few days there should also be new info on the fourth Season of Anno 1800, which was promised for the end of March. The developers haven’t shown much apart from the teaser above so far, and we probably won’t be expecting another region. Instead, the new expansions will also focus on the space problems in the new world. We have summarised what we already know about Season 4 in an article for you:
Anno 1800: Season 4 is a fantastic idea, but an even bigger challenge
opinion: They should build on the successes of the previous expansions, but on the other hand not overdo it with the complexity.
