In the Dev Diary, the developers of Men of War 2 talk about Men of War’s past and their return to the World War II scenario. They also introduce the factions of what they claim are historically accurate campaigns in which you reenact historical battles of World War II. The three playable factions, the Allies, the Soviet Union and Germany, are also meant to resemble their historical models as closely as possible.
You can also play all missions with up to four other players in co-op. Then each player is responsible for certain sections in your army, such as artillery support, infantry and tank units. Men of War 2 is scheduled for release on PC in 2022, but no exact release date has been announced yet.
