Two YouTubers come across a large collection of partly unopened, originally sealed games in a dilapidated house. Valuable copies are also included.

The US YouTuber duo “Cheap Finds Gold Mines” have made a rare as well as great video game catch. Normally, the pair show off the special finds from flea markets and pawn shops, which include some jewels. This time, the pair received a tip about an abandoned house that might have housed some interesting items. So they set out to find them and came across a huge collection of classic games that were still in their original packaging.

The house itself was in a state of disrepair and it showed in the video. Much of the surrounding area was ransacked and most of the rooms offered little room for movement. The two YouTubers were hesitant at first, but after finding some interesting items, they kept going in to find and reveal more.

According to an article by Kotaku, the YouTubers stated that the total value of the video games found in the house was around US$100,000. They also said that the house would soon be demolished. The house itself belonged to the uncle of a woman named Stephanie, who moved out after falling ill. According to Stephanie, he turned to hoarding after losing someone close to him.

Rare video game finds have included original shrink-wrapped titles such as The Legend: The Wind Waker. In recent months, such unopened games have seen a significant increase in value, selling for four figures or higher, depending on condition.
