Rockstar Games must have had enough of the comments and questions about Grand Theft Auto 6, so the term “GTA 6” was banned on the in-house YouTube channel. But that doesn’t stop the fans.
While Rockstar has never officially stated that it will release another title in the popular GTA series, fans are still asking plenty of questions about it. In the end, this was too much for the game developer. As a result, the term “GTA 6” was banned in the comments on the in-house YouTube channel.
But the publisher probably didn’t reckon with the creativity of the GTA fans. They have now found a way to circumvent this blocking.
Instead of commenting on “GTA 6” under the YT videos, the users now write “GTA IIIIII”, “GTA 5 + 1” and similar variations. There the fans were probably a little more crafty than Rockstar and thus the pressure of the GTA players:inside is back.
Rockstar Games has muted the word “GTA 6” from their official YouTube channel.

Justifiably impatient
It’s been over eight years since the release of the last title, GTA 5. However, the game’s community is still huge and fans are constantly finding new ways to play the title. But after such a long time, the impatience of the players:inside is understandable. More and more users want a new game from the successful series, which can also be seen on social media. Only Rockstar doesn’t seem to feel any pressure to develop another part.
The term “GTA 6” still only seems to be blocked in the YouTube comments. However, if Rockstar decides to adopt this for other channels as well, the success behind it would probably be just as low.
