Release: When will San Andreas Mercenaries be released?
San Andreas Mercenaries will be released on 13 June 2023 – Rockstar has revealed this with the announcement of the Summer Update 2023. This means that San Andreas Mercenaries will be released a few weeks earlier than previous expansions have been.
Content: What new content will San Andreas Mercenaries bring?
What”s San Andreas Mercenaries all about? In the upcoming update for GTA Online, we”ll be taking on the mercenaries of Merryweather (once again). For this, mechanic and pilot Charlie Reed returns, whom hangar owners should already know.
The update will be available in German only.
According to the official announcement, new missions will see us stealing secret information, leading raid operations or unloading explosive charges on targets scattered throughout the game world.
With San Andreas Mercenaries you can also look forward to the following content for GTA Online:
- new missions
- new weapon: Tactical SMG
- new upgrades for the Avenger: new terminal for your operations and upgrades for the weapon systems.
- new upgrades for the hangar: the Avenger can be stowed in a hangar, which previously required a facility.

- new Quality of Life enhancements: Mors Mutual Insurance lets you restore multiple destroyed vehicles at once, there”s an alternative control for sprinting, new custom tags help you search for specific cars faster, Willard Eudora and Albany Classique Broadway can be used for taxi work, Creator Mode update.

It”s too early to tell whether this will be the end of the story or whether Rockstar will pull a surprise or two out of its sleeve. We will of course let you know as soon as we learn more about the upcoming summer update.

No update with costs: As usual, San Andreas Mercenaries should not cost you a cent. All expansions for GTA Online have been released for free so far. Of course, you will have to spend your in-game fortune if you want to get access to them. The concrete prices of San Andreas Mercenaries are not yet known.
