And no, this time we don’t have a leak for you, but really secured and official information about GTA 6 And it comes from none other than the CEO of Take-Two Interactive himself.
What was said?
Take-Two is the parent company of GTA developer Rockstar Games. In its (last annual report) the corporation announced that active development of GTA 6 was well underway
. Granted, this is not new information. However, Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick got much more specific.
To investors, Zelnick announced that the company had a significant milestone
coming up in fiscal 2025. He is referring primarily to the expected high sales – because, unsurprisingly, Take-Two also expects GTA 6 to sell like hot cakes. After all, the game is undisputedly one of the most anticipated current titles.
And what does that mean?
From Zelnick’s statement, we can see when the company plans to launch the next Grand Theft Auto installment.Take-Two’s fiscal year 2025 runs from April 2024 to the end of March 2025, which means that GTA 6 should still be released within the next 20 months.
This also coincides with the latest leaks on the net, which spoke of a release in late 2024 to early 2025. We had also reported about this. Admittedly, this is still not a concrete date, but it still clearly shows where the journey is headed.
