This week, Killing Floor 2, a shooter that has been celebrated for years, is free. If you”re a solitaire fan, the card game Ancient Enemy might also appeal to you

The Steam Summer Sale is now over, but the weekly free promotion from the Epic Games Store continues as usual. Co-op fans and card players will certainly be able to spend some fun hours with the two free titles.

Here are the most important key data about the two free games:

  • Killing Floor 2has been a perennial favourite among co-op shooters for six years. With regular updates, the development studio Tripwire Interactive has built up a loyal community that regularly shoots lead in the faces of the various zombie hordes.

  • Ancient Enemyis a card game with strong similarities to the classic solitaire. The game combines the familiar premise with role-playing elements and a fantasy story.

    Theoffer will last until July 14 at 16:59, after which the next flood of free offers will appear as usual. If you want to know more about the games and for whom the titles are worthwhile, you can scroll down further. What to expect in Killing Floor 2

    Just shoot it. In Killing Floor 2 you don”t think twice about whether you should shoot or not. You are in a zombie apocalypse and only a dead undead is a good undead. The question is not whether to shoot, but who to shoot first. Different enemy types require different approaches. To avoid being overrun by the waves of zombies, you can have up to five playmates at your side;

    The co-op shooter is already six years old, but new content continues to be added to the game – so you can be sure that you will have plenty to do.

    What”s behind Ancient Enemy

    Have you always found solitaire too dull? Was it just not strategic enough for you to always discard your ace first? Then maybe Ancient Enemy is just the replacement you”ve been looking for!

    Not only does the card game feature fancy animations, but it also plays quite a bit more tactically than the original card game. Using magic and medieval weapons, you fight your way through the landscape by pitting cards against each other. Resistances and different abilities also add some depth to the gameplay, while a light story with nice animations connects the individual matches. For card players, it”s definitely worth a look, after all Ancient Enemy has positive reviews on (Steam 92) percent.

    Who are the two free games for?

    Ancient Enemy is suitable for those of you who keep digging out solitaire on the PC. Perhaps you could also enjoy the game if you”ve become bored with the classic and could get something out of it again with a bit of variety and tactics. But one thing is clear: you should enjoy playing card games.

    Killing Floor 2 can be a lot of fun with a few friends in a team, but as a single player the shooter doesn”t really shine. In addition, you shouldn”t have a problem with seeing digital blood – the game is quite brutal. Especially fans of Left 4 Dead and Back 4 Blood can expect Killing Floor 2 to provide some fun hours.
