The League of Legends pros Bjergsen and Doublelift want to start anew with the American team 100 Thieves in the LCS and return after a break.
It was already known in advance that there will be a few changes in the roster of 100 Thieves. On Friday, the two well-known LoL pros Søren “Bjergsen” Bjerg and Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng announced their comeback with the LCS team. Both are among the most successful esports players in League of Legends. Especially during their time together at TSM – with interruptions – the duo dominated the LCS for years.
Previously, there were rumours that the two well-known stars would be leaving for the 100 Thieves. Bjergsen thus replaces German Esport player Felix “Abbedagge” Braun, who only moved to the North American team from Schalke 04 in mid-2021, as a mid-laner. The 23-year-old German leaves the team after a long Covid illness and a rather disappointing performance at the Worlds.

The 26-year-old Dane, on the other hand, moves from Team Liquid to the 100 Thieves and will thus play side by side with LCS legend Doublelift. The former pro is also making his comeback to the professional LoL scene with 100 Thieves. At the end of 2020, record-breaking player Doublelift ended his successful career and had mainly focused on streaming on Twitch.

In addition, the two Esport players Milan “Tenacity” Oleksij and Alan “Busio” Swalina move from the Academy Team to 100 Thieves. With this the roster of the LCS team is complete for the coming season. At least the jungler Can “Closer” Celik remains as the only one from the previous roster.
