Who is Norra? The League of Legends community already has a guess as to who could be one of the next new champions in Season 11.
Recent rumours suggest that champion number 157 could be the owner and champion of champion Yuumi. In Runeterra lore, she is already known and integrated as Norra.
Viego gets a new mage in his story
While the 156th champion, who is said to be a mid-lane shooter, is still a long time coming, one Reddit community suspects they already know the champion. It is supposed to complete the storyline around Viego. They are talking about another dark mage who, according to Riot Games, has to choose a side in the battle. Norra, the owner and champion of cat champion Yuumi, is a good candidate for this mysterious character.
What is already known about Norra
Not many details about Norra have been released yet. With the release of Yuumi, it was revealed that Norra disappeared from Bandle City with the help of the Book of Thresholds to visit a dangerous place. In an official video for the Yuumi release, it becomes clear that the cat also sets off with the help of the book. Initially, she still had the goal of finding her master.
Norra is described as a Yordle sorceress – and this description fits very well with an announcement made by Riot Lead Champion Producer Ryan “Reav3” Mireles in January 2021, who characterised the new champion as a “gritty artillery mage who values solitude”. At the end of April, he explained that this character will be a more traditional mage after all.
Another piece of information fuels the rumours about Norra as a new champion. In the Champion Roadmap for April, Reav3 stated about the Yordle: “She always gets annoyed by hyperactive champions standing around her. It’s enough for her to get serious and start chopping up all the lifeforms full of glee that buzz around her like annoying flies.” With Yuumi being one of those hyperactive champions, it remains to be seen if Norra really will become the champion after next in League of Legends.

The earliest release for Norra is probably in the later part of League of Legends Season 11.
Currently, the champion with the number 156, the Guardian of Light, is still waiting for his release. Norra could probably follow some time later and complete the story of Viego and Runeterra.
