Play-In-Stage:

In the Play-In-Stage, 8 teams from different leagues will play against each other in 2 groups in a double-elimination format. Played will be Best-Of-3 series (With the exception of the Losers Bracket Final, this will be a Bo5).

The winners of the two groups will advance directly to the bracket stage, the group runners-up will compete in the Losers Bracket for another ticket to the next round.

Bracket Stage:

In the Bracket Stage, both the five teams that qualified directly and the three teams that qualified through the Play-In Stage will play each other.

The Bracket Stage will also be played in a double-elimination format. However, in this stage, the teams will play best-of-5.

For four rounds, teams will play each other and may be relegated to the loser’s bracket (lower bracket) of the Stage in any of those rounds.

If a team loses in the Lower Bracket, it is eliminated from the tournament entirely.

While the “winners” and “losers” tournament trees are actually completely separate, surprising comebacks and turnarounds can still occur.

If a team is relegated to the loser tree but continues to win games there, it may well result in a Revenge matchup where the relegated team plays the team it previously lost to.
