In the LEC, the six playoff teams of the Spring Split are already fixed after the eighth week of play.

In the final week of the league phase, Europe’s best LoL teams will still have to secure the top position.
There are only two matches left for the LEC teams in the remaining Spring Split this weekend, before they go into the playoffs’ knockout matches. Even though the six playoff participants have already been determined, the final ranking is decisive for the starting position in the knockout rounds.

The G2 pursuers will therefore have to hope for two slips by the defending champions and take two victories themselves. While Fnatic will face the formidable MAD Lions and the bottom team Vitality, Origen will face Excel Esports and the Lions from Madrid with German star Elias “Upset” Lipp.
