Once again, Riot Games is sending familiar faces from the world of League of Legends to Runeterra. With the upcoming patch, Annie, Jhin and more take centre stage.

For League of Legends players, champions Annie and Jhin are familiar faces from the highly competitive world of Rift. With the latest patch, both characters will also be made playable in map form in Legends of Runeterra from 20:00 CEST, along with Illaoi and Bard. The update brings numerous innovations with it, which will once again expand the game by various facets. Single-player fans can also look forward to a completely renewed “Path of Champions”.

Time, for the biggest show of your lives! – Jhin

The latest patch for Legends of Runeterra brings more champions to the world of the card game: Jhin, Annie, Bard and Illaoi. All characters bring new as well as unique abilities with them, which, among other things, make Jhin a territory of his own and are declared accordingly when creating decks.

The virtuoso, who always counts to four, uses a variety of equipment and abilities that may be familiar to some from League of Legends. If effects are used by allies, a counter starts on a lying Jhin, which triggers a lotus trap after every third spell (slow), skill or quick spell, which not only injures the enemy nexus, but also stuns the weakest opponent. But this is only one of the many “instruments” the Pistolero knows how to use.

Here comes Tibbers! – Annie

Annie, on the other hand, comes as a very special card that deals damage to her opponents despite having no attack points. Should she also ascend, the players get the opportunity to bring Tibbers onto the field as an additional card – just like in League of Legends!

Bells, tentacles and more – Bard, Illaoi, Champions Path 2.0

Not to forget Illaoi and Bard, who were introduced to the fans of the game some time ago and can come up with their typical skills. While Bard wants to corner his opponents with mythical sounds and packs various bells into his own deck, Illaoi dominates the playing field with her tentacle army and tries to overrun the competition with a mass of allies.

Both maps will be released along with a new and revised Champions mode, aimed specifically at single-player. New champions, game modes, expansions and more are designed to further enhance and make the single-player experience more interesting.
