The first preview for the patch 11.19 is here and with it the expected changes for the Worlds 2021. The new patch is a direct follow-up to the patch 11.18 and mainly makes further changes in the Pro-Play area. In the solo queue, Sona moves into the nerf focus.

In terms of buffs, the main focus is on the champions that were already listed in the “General Adjustments” category in the previous patch. This means that Fizz and Qiyana will receive more far-reaching changes than was initially assumed. Qiyana’s combination of E- and Q-ability is currently being reworked.

In terms of nerfs, Soraka and Varus are on Riot Games’ priority list. Lead Game Designer Jeevun Sidhu stated that the Soraka buff in patch 11.18 seemed to be too extreme and the Ultimate needs to lose some strength again. For Varus and Renekton, the previous nerf did not seem to be very effective. So for the World Championship, these two champions will also have to go through the adjustment again.
