LoL Patch 13.9 is just around the corner. In addition to the Neeko update, the update will also bring a nerf for the currently most popular ADC.
Before the biggest patch of the current League of Legends Season, 13.10, Riot Games has a few smaller adjustments in store for us. In patch 13.9 we can expect, among other things, the mid-scope update for Neeko, as well as a nerf for the currently most popular ADC.

On Twitter, the League of Legends Dev Team announced the planned changes for patch 13.9.
Phroxzon is out this week, so we’ll be stepping in for this preview!
Small patch this time as we prepare for 13.10, which will be our biggest patch since season start. 13.9 focuses on lifting some champions that haven’t felt great, including bigger changes for Neeko and Kayle. pic.twitter.com/mM02WnA1Kr

- Amumu
- Swain
- Trundle
Nerfs:
- Sion
- Jinx
Customizations:
- Neeko
- Bel’Veth

Jinx has established herself on patch 13.8 as the most popular ADC of the patch with a pretty high pick rate on all ranks . Accordingly, Riot plans to make a few adjustments to take the wind out of her sails a bit.
While exact details on the nerfs and buffs won’t be available until the full patch notes, there is already some info on the announced Neeko update.
Patch 13.9 – Neeko Update
The long awaited mid-scope update for Neeko might already come to the live servers with patch 13.9.
Riot already revealed at the beginning of the Season that in the future Neeko will be able to transform not only into other champions, but also into plants, Minions and much more.
Riot is now implementing these plans along with a few other changes.

Probably the most important changes are to their passive capability:
- Neeko can save “Sho’ma” from units around her (Wards, Minions, Traps, Plant, etc.). When she clicks on the saved Sho’ma, she transforms into the unit whose Sho’ma she previously collected.
- Neeko’s clone no longer disappears when it receives damage. Instead, it now only disappears when it would die anyway or when Neeko is hit by Crowd Control .
Furthermore, the planned changes give the impression that Riot would like to see Neeko on multiple roles instead of just midlane.
For example, the changes to her Q and her W are designed to allow her to do more damage to Jungle
monsters.
Patch 13.9 is scheduled to be released on May3 and, as always, will involve a brief server downtime in the morning.
