Faker and T1 have set a new record in the LCK. The three-time World Champion and his team are still undefeated after 16 matches.

Sang-hyeok “Faker” Lee has set a new LCK record with his team T1. The best League of Legends professional of all time celebrated his 15th and 16th consecutive wins last week and is still undefeated in the 2022 LCK Spring Split. In doing so, Faker surpassed his own record set in 2015.

T1 already set a new record on Friday with their 15th best-of-three win over the Kwangdong Freecs. Before this game, Faker’s team had won the first 14 series of a season, just like in the 2015 Summer Split. Already on Sunday, T1 increased their own record to 16 wins, as they won the match against LCK fifth-placed Fredit BRION 2-0.

Faker and Co. still have two more matches to play in the regular season. With victories over Liiv SANDBOX on Friday and DRX on Sunday, T1 would make the perfect 18-0 split a reality.

Possibly the Mid-Laner will surprise with unusual champion picks to close out the regular season, as has been the case recently. Faker played Kwangdong Freecs Kai’Sa on Friday, who is usually seen on the bot lane.

His build focused on Ability power, making the poke-damage of the W ability Void Seeker particularly high. When an enemy champion is hit by the evolved version of this skill, the cooldown is reduced by 77 percent, allowing it to be used very often. In addition, Kai’Sa always remained a threat to opposing carries with her Ultimate. In other games, Faker recently primarily chose the meta picks Ahri and LeBlanc.
