Nilah has barely been released in League of Legends and Riot Games’ new AD-Carry is already receiving a nerf. The bot laner is just too strong.

Since LoL Patch 12.13, the new AD-Carry Nilah has been available in the Summoner’s Rift. Already in the short time the champion could dominate in matches. Due to this, Riot Games is weakening Nilah in a mid-patch.

After less than a day in the Summoner’s Rift, new bot laner Nilah boasts a win rate of nearly 52 percent. For Riot Games, the champion seems a little overpowered. In the mid-patch update, Nilah gets a virtual punch in the gut for her base health and shield stats.

Also, the passive healing and shield from the AD Carry is adjusted. Both values are reduced. But also some of their abilities are not spared from the nerf. The total attack damage of the Q-Skill has been reduced by 10 percent and the attack speed has also been reduced. The charge rate of the E-skill was also adjusted with the mid-patch.

Newly released champions often appear too strong in League of Legends. Besides Nilah, Zeri and Bel’Veth were also considered OP. Zeri continued to dominate in matches even after the initial nerfs. With the small strength boost, Riot Games could try to ensure that the new champion is chosen more often, especially at the beginning, and doesn’t simply get lost in the crowd.
