The well-known item Rod of Ages celebrates its comeback in LoL. In addition, Riot Games has added three new items in Preseason

With the start of Preseason on Wednesday in League of Legends, Riot Games has countless item changes in store. In addition, three new items are being added for tanks in the Summoner’s Rift.

Riot Games is adding a total of three new mystic items to League of Legends. In addition, several tank items will be reworked to focus less on damage and more on the robustness of the champions. In addition, “Turbo Chemtank” and “Sunfire Cape” are no longer mystical items and have been partially weakened.

Three new Mythic Items

The new item “Jak’Sho, the Protean” improves life, armour, magic resistance and ability speed. The passive ability of the item generates increases that grant armour and magic resistance. When this has reached the maximum number of increases, life is drained from nearby enemies and your own resistances increase.

“Radiant Virtue” also grants life, armour, magic resistance and ability speed. However, its passive ability activates after the Ultimate has been used. The maximum lives are increased for a short time and both the own champion and the allies receive ability speed as well as a heal.

The last new item in the round is Heartsteel. The item grants health, life regeneration and ability speed. With its passive ability, the champion charges a powerful attack and deals normal damage to enemies. In addition, the maximum lives of the champion are permanently increased.

“Rod of Ages” returns

In the early stages of League of Legends, Rod of Ages was a central item for Bruiser Mages. However, the item was removed from the game in Season 11. Now, Rod of Ages returns to the Summoner’s Rift and improves the champions’ life, mana and ability power. In addition, the item receives increases that also grant and improve effects.
