With this patch, the biggest changes since the Mid-Season Update are coming our way!
Shortly after the Worlds patch, Riot announces one of the biggest patches in a long time. The changes affect all lanes and are mainly intended to reduce the “Snowball” effect that causes many players to despair.
Snowball is the effect where players who already have an advantage continue to build on it to gain an even greater advantage.

Champions
:
Akshan
- Q Bonus speed reduced from 40 to 40-20%.
Bel’Veth
- Passive Attackspeed reduced from 25-50% to 20-40%.
- E Damage reduction reduced from 70% to 50-70%, minimum damage per hit changed from 8-16 (plus 6% AD) to 7-11 (plus 8% AD), on-hit modifier increased from 6-24% to 8-32% , damage can critically hit.
- R Void Remora (Voidlings) life adjusted from 40-60% to 20-7% (based on minions max HP)
Jax
- New ability symbols.
- VFX update for all skinsand new splasharts.
- New voiceover.
- Fishing a fish gives Jax 1 AP every 5 seconds.
- The chance to catch a golden fish that gives 10 AP and 10 gold.
Jinx
- HP per level increased from 100 to 105.
- Passive Attackspeed can now stack.
- R Cooldown reduced from 70-40 seconds to 75-55 seconds.
Kai’Sa
- Armor reduced from 28 to 25.

- E Shield increased from 60-160 to 60-180, recharge rate reduced from 18-14 to 17-13 seconds.
- R AP ratio increased from 30 to 50%.
Morgana
- W AP ratio increased from 14 to 17%, monster damage ration increased from 155% to 165%.
- E Cooldown increased from 24-16 to 26-16 seconds.
- R Movespeed increased from 5-55% towards one enemy to 10-60% in all directions, Stun duration increased from 1.5 to 1.5-2 seconds, Damage increased from 150-300 (plus 70% AP) to 175-325 (plus 80% AP).

- AD per level increased from 2.4 to 2.7.
- Base HP decreased from 603 to 565.
- Base movespeed reduced from 335 to 330.
Zed
- W Cooldown increased from 20-14 to 20-17 seconds.

- Q Effective range increased from 150 to 180.

- Lethality of Haunt effect increased from 3-12 to 7-18.

- Basic healing reduced from 10-100 to 10-140.

Lethal Tempo
- Bonus attack speed per increase for melee fighters changed from 10-15% to 10-14%.
- Max. Bonus Attack Speed for melee fighters changed from 60-90% to 60-84%.

- Basic damage increased from 40-180 to 40-220.
- Damage boost reduced from 8-12% to 8%.
Summon Aery
- Basic damage increased from 10-40 to 10-50.

- Basic healing increased from 16-30 to 16-40.

Waterwalking
- Adaptive strength increased from 3-18 bonus AD or 5-30 AP to 7.8-18 bonus AD or 13-30 AP.
- Bonus movespeed reduced from 25 to 10.

Respawn
- Levels 2-3 reduced by 2 seconds.
- Levels 4-6 reduced by 4 seconds.
- Level 7 reduced by 5 seconds.
- Level 8 reduced by 6.5 seconds.
- Level 9 reduced by 4 seconds.
Smite
- Smite Companion damage reduced from 20-160 to 40
- Unleashed Smite and Companion damage changed from 20-160 to 40, no longer triggers Spell Effects.
- Primal Smite Champion and Companion damage reduced from 20-160 to 40, secondary target monster damage increased from 50% to 100%, no longer grants damage reduction and no longer triggers Spell Effects.
Jungle
Pets
- Mosstomper shield no longer grants tenacity.
- Gustwalker bonus movespeed through bushes reduced from 45%to 30%,bonus movespeed after killing a large monster reduced from 60% to 45%.
- Scorchclaw fire damage no longer triggers spelleffects.
Jungle camps
- Jungle monsters have 7-8% more HP from the second clear.
- Camps now scale by 5% and 10% on buffs to max HP.
- Life of the big raptor increased.
- More XP from medium and small Kruggs.
Scuttle Crab
- Basic life and life increase increased, gold and XP gain adjusted to camp level, late-game XP and gold gain increased.
Jungler
Healing
- Companion-AD-Ratio reduced, AP-Ratio slightly reduced, Armor and MR reduced.
- First Clear should remain unchanged.
- Healing has an upper limit
- Healing by monsters adjusted.
Anti-Poaching
- Camp armour and MR increased, Jungle item damage increased.
Minion Experience
- Jungler-Minion-XP changed from 40-75% to 30-100%.
Turrets
- Gold per Turretplating reduced from 175 to 125 gold.
