Top Esports and DRX from Group D complete the quarter-finalists. Riot has also already drawn lots for the quarter finals.
Closing out Group D
Although FlyQuest was able to defend the North American honor in Group D with some strong wins, it was not enough to reach the quarter finals. After losing to DRX, victories over tournament favorites Top Esports and outsiders Unicorns of Love were not enough.

At the end of Group D, the Chinese Top Esports finally secured first place in the group over the Koreans from DRX.
The Playoffs
Riot went straight to the quarter-finals after the end of group D. In the final bracket, European representatives Fnatic and G2 Esports now find themselves at opposite ends. While Fnatic has to prove itself in the first game against tournament favorite Top Esports, G2 will welcome the Korean team Gen.G.
Interestingly, the draw resulted in a division of the tournament tree into a Chinese and Korean half. Should Fnatic win the match against Top Esports, they will have to play the winner of the Chinese duel Suning vs. JD Gaming. G2, on the other hand, will have to fight off the Korean stars, as the semi-final will be played against the winner of the Korean derby DAMWON Gaming vs. DRX
