In the Prime League final, Unicorns of Love Sexy Edition and Schalke 04 met. Unicorns won the title with a score of 3-1.
On 20 August, the Prime League Final took place in Berlin. There, Unicorns of Love Sexy Edition beat Schalke 04 in the best-of-5 and won the trophy. This is how the final went.
A winstreak ends, but the title still comes
Both Unicorns of Love and Schalke 04 went into the first game of the final with confidence. Schalke 04 managed to beat Eintracht Spandau, BIG and SK Gaming in the losers bracket and showed an impressive performance. On the other hand, Unicorns of Love celebrated a winstreak of 17 games before the final, building up through the Winners Bracket. So, two strong teams with high potential faced each other in the first offline event of the Prime League.
After a show match of NNO against V9, the long-awaited final started. But already in the first game it was obvious that Schalke 04 would have a hard time. They only managed three kills, while Unicorns of Love destroyed their Nexus with 23 kills and four dragons. This not only extended their winstreak, but also gave them their first of three needed wins.
In the second game, Unicorns of Love again showed dominance and many fans were already worried about having to go home after only three games. However, Schalke 04 surprised in the third game with good picks and strong team fights, so that they won their first game and the Unicorns’ win streak ended at 19 games.
This was probably followed by the most exciting game, in which Unicorns of Love narrowly took the victory and thus won the final. Thus, the players Scarface, Lurox, Ruby, Shiganari and Winsome can now successfully call themselves Prime League winners.

What’s next?
But as we all know, after the Prime League is before the EU Masters. Not only for Unicorns of Love, but also for SK Gaming and Schalke 04, it will soon be time to prepare for the EU Masters. Because on 24 August the play-ins already begin and on 29 August the group phase. Here, the Prime League teams will meet opponents from the various regions of Europe and have to assert themselves.
