Yesterday afternoon, Mojang released a new clip for Minecraft Legends. This shows how players must unite the various characters of the overworld in order to fight back against the Piglings.

In less than two weeks, Mojang and Blackbird Interactive will release Minecraft Legends. In this extensive spin-off of the popular sandbox title, the Piglings come out of the Nether and spread into the overworld. To stop their invasion, you’ll have to work together with characters who are actually enemies, such as the Creepers, Skeletons and Zombies. The new clip calls for a joining of forces and shows that the motley overworld is worth fighting for.

The new clip once again draws attention to the fairy-tale theme the developers had in mind when designing the game for the overworld. As we ve reported before, one of the ways they are trying to differentiate the Nether and its representatives from the overworld is through colour contrasts.

You can see this epic story for yourself when Minecraft Legends is released on 18 April for PC, PlayStation and Xbox.

You can find more information about Minecraft Legends in our overview and on the (official website), where you can still pre-order the game.
