The Overwatch 2 beta is already in full swing. Blizzard releases a patch for it and revamps two heroes.

The second round of the Overwatch 2 beta began at the end of June and is currently ongoing until July 18. Blizzard released a patch for the test phase on Monday, which reworked two heroes.

However, Overwatch 2 not only brings new heroes, but the old characters are also being reworked and improved. During the current beta, Blizzard is trying to listen to the feedback of the players and further adapt the heroes. As a result, Mercy’s Guardian Angel skill is being reworked again. From Overwatch to Overwatch 2, a new feature was added to the skill that makes Mercy automatically fly into the air.

This was again adjusted with the patch and no longer happens automatically. Moira, on the other hand, receives the new skill “Necrotic Orb”. With this, the supporter seems to become a strong counter for several ultimates like this one from D.Va, as hit enemies do 75 percent less damage for four seconds. This could block attacks that would normally be deadly for the whole team.

Some players:inside have been hoping for such a skill for a while, although other heroes with shields and their ultimates can also block such enormous damage. This should give Moira a skill that can actively support one’s own team compared to other supporters. However, Moira’s general damage has also been greatly reduced.
