Overwatch 2 is just around the corner. The developers already introduced the new heroine Junker Queen in an impressive cinematic on 16 June and shed light on the background story. In the latest trailer, however, we get to see gameplay for the first time.

How does the new heroine play? The Junker Queen will be a true melee monster, which is why every opponent should stay far away from her. On the one hand, she is equipped with a shotgun and carries a blade that sticks to enemies and draws them towards the player. For another, she apparently triggers some kind of bleeding effect on her enemies, which benefits their health and heals them. The Junker Queen is also a team player, however, and brings some useful buffs for her comrades that boost speed and healing.

When will Overwatch 2 be released? Blizzard has announced that the sequel will be released for free on October 4, 2022. However, there will be a beta before that, which will start on 28 June 2022 and last until 18 July. If you also want to test the game before then, you can register for the beta on the (official website).
