Almost two months ago, Overwatch 2 replaced its predecessor. Now Blizzard is preparing its fans for the upcoming 2nd season of the shooter. Among other things, the new hero Ramattra awaits you in this season. What the fighting machine has to offer, we reveal to you now.

Blizzard already revealed the new hero Ramattra at the beginning of November. However, in (blog entry) and the trailer, less was said about his skills than about his background. That changed over the weekend. A new gameplay trailer shows off the machine’s combat skills, introducing himself as Overwatch 2’s first tempo tank.

Although a good portion of Ramattra’s abilities are already apparent in the video, we’ll give you another detailed overview of the new Overwatch 2 hero’s talents. First of all, it should be said that Ramattra has two forms: the Nemisis Form and the Omnic Form.

In addition, he can create a Ravenous Vortex, which creates a black hole. This attracts enemies in a certain area, slowing them down and dealing damage. His Ultimate Attack Annihilation is also impressive. This allows Ramattra to create a swarm of nanobots that deal damage to enemies and mitigate enemy damage by 50%.

Omni Form:

  • Use of the Void Accelerator
    • Shoots projectiles in a fixed pattern
    • Creates a barrier on a targeted area

Nemisis Form:

  • Change appearance & attack style
  • Pummel Attack:
    • Fast, damaging blows with the fists
    • Front attacks from enemies are weakened and slowed.
