In Patch 14.2 for PUBG: Battlegrounds (formerly Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds), the developers have once again come up with a few medium-sized changes. In this case, even two explosive innovations.

Firstly, there is now a mortar on the Taego map that you can use to attack at long range. However, the weapon requires one of your weapon slots and has little ammunition. So you have to be pretty accurate to cause devastating damage.

Also new is the M79 smoke grenade launcher. It lands in the pistol slot and only shoots smoke grenades that give you cover. In addition, knocked-out players can now swim to land in the water to be revived there instead of being directly dead as before.

And then there are the chickens on Taego. You can find out what they are all about in the trailer
