A victory that no one really had in mind. For the second time, G2 Esports wins the Six Invitational. For Benjamin “Benjamaster” Dereli it was also a perfect debut!
It almost sounds too good to be true. Only 45 days ago Benjamin “Benjamaster” Dereli was signed by G2 Esports, not knowing that it was going to be a more than happy relationship for both sides. Now the “rookie” can not only call himself world champion, the newcomer was also voted tournament MVP. Not bad, after just 45 days.

World champion for the third time!
Besides the outstanding performance of Benjamaster another G2 Esports personnel was in the spotlight. Fabian “Fabian” Hällsten is a veteran of the scene and already played professionally at the top in Rainbow Six Siege years ago. Now the former PENTA player has been crowned World Champion for the third time in his career, but for the first time as a coach! After the final of the Six Invitational, he was immediately dubbed G.O.A.T. by many – no one before him managed to take home the Hammer trophy three times.
From the lower bracket to the grand final
On the way to the grand final of the Six Invitational, the roster around Fabian and Benjamaster defeated everything and everyone and only had to give up one card against Wolves Esports. In fact, the eventual world champions only lost two rounds in the entire playoffs, which is why one can definitely speak of an impressive performance. In the final itself, G2 defeated the competition from m7w Esports 3:1 and thus wrote itself into the annals of Rainbow Six Siege once again.
