The elimination round of the Valorant Champions Tour starts in Europe on 23 May. The six remaining teams compete for a place in the final.

The VCT 2023 is Riot’s latest attempt to take the Champions Tour to a higher level of entertainment and connect with fans through new leagues, events and partners. A big feature is the introduction of national leagues, creating a World Cup-like feel.

In Europe, the hot phase now begins. From 23 May, the playoffs of the Valorant Champions Tour EMEA will start in Berlin. In the playoffs, the remaining six organisations will fight for four tickets to the Masters, where the Champions Tour places will be played out in June.

This is how the VCT EMEA Playoffs work

FUT Esports face the Giants from 17:00 (UTC +2), followed by Team Liquid against Team Vitality. The Turkish team, led by Furkan “MrFaliN “ Yeğen, now faces the Spanish Giants again after a 2-0 loss and could make up for it in a best-of-three. Although the Spanish are considered favourites, FUT Esports’ chances are very good after a solid 5-4 season.

Also exciting is the duel between Team Vitality and Team Liquid, which sheds a lot of light on the players the Bees after the French won the Paris Majors in Counter Strike. However, they face a strong Team Liquid, who finished the regular season with an outstanding 6-3. In the last duel between the two teams, Vitality emerged as a surprising winner. The only question is whether that luck will be repeated in tonight’s match.

On day two of the playoffs, it’s on to Fnatic against the winner of the Opening Round followed by NAVI against the winner of the Vitality vs TL duel.
