WOW Classic Record Paladin

In preparation for WoW Burning Crusade Classic you can play Blood Elves and Draenei since yesterday. One of them has already won the World-First-Race.

The so-called World-First-Race in World of Warcraft is always completed within a few days or even hours. While in WoW Classic the first player needed four days to reach the maximum level 60, the first blood elf paladin needed just 14.5 hours.

Why did it happen so fast?

Unlike his gnomic World-First predecessor from the WoW Classic release, Twitch streamer BzmodeTwitch had a distinct advantage. Since the WoW Burning Crusade Classic pre-patch was applied to live servers on March 19, the required amount of experience points between levels 20 and 60 has decreased by about 15 percent.

Bzmode thus needed fewer experience points from level 20 and thus less time to level up. Another big advantage was also the support he received from his guild and friends. All of them were already level 60 and could help out the new blood elf paladin.

Although a level boost that can be paid for with real money also came into play with the new pre-patch, which brings your characters directly to level 58, this boost is precisely not available for the new races Draenei and Blood Elves, which made the world-first race possible in the first place.

How did he do that?

As you can see from the Twitch video above, Bzmode mainly lets his guild and friends help him by inviting them into groups first and leveling up from the shared experience points.

Later, he uses so-called mob tagging, which means that he always strikes first at enemies, so that all loot and experience is credited to him, and then has the enemies killed by the friends he brings along. By not being part of a group, he keeps all the experience for himself.

Using this method, the team manages to get Bzmodes Paladin to level 60 in 14 hours and 28 minutes. With this, this World First race is decided, but the next one is already waiting for new participants in 2 weeks.

That’s when Burning Crusade Classic is finally released and the competition for the first level 70 player begins. By the way, the French player Gullerbone won the contest in 2007, taking just 28 hours to get from level 60 to 70.

We also have a guide on “Leveling Fast” in our special issue. It may not decide the race for you, but it will take away possible frustration when the servers are overcrowded again and you don’t feel like waiting in quest queues.

Have you already started with a Blood Elf or Draenei? If so, what level have you already reached?
