Activision’s quiz about the last six days comes to an end. The new title for CoD 2020 is fixed. Secret trailer confirms new title – Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

The time of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone seems to be slowly coming to an end. The developers of Infinity Ward supported the scavenger hunt and the hype around the new title from Treyarch and Raven Software. Now all hints in Verdansk are solved. The new game is called Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. The game will be officially announced on August 26th.

Rumors of the new title began in May 2020 when players opened Bunker 11 in Warzone and discovered an atomic bomb and other clues.

Activision sent some mysterious boxes to various content creators and officially started their teasing campaign for the new CoD 2020.

The clues led the community to an Activision website. Over the last six days, new teasers with information were published there again and again. The developers took us back in time with each video and hint of a little excursion. At the latest now everyone who did not pay attention in history lessons should be enlightened.

All hints finally led to a hidden trailer with the name – Know your past:

In this video, Activision also sends us back to the Cold War era. It also shows a new date to unveil the new Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

The official announcement of the new Call of Duty will be released on August 26, 2020.

Will there be more puzzles?
It remains to be seen whether Activision will remain true to its line and announce more new clues on that date. It would be conceivable in any case. The puzzle game with the clues has been well received by the community so far.

In any case, we are very excited and look forward to next Wednesday, August 26, 2020.
